The ‘Spotted in Rotterdam’ day that started with the Corvette C6 ends in style: with a modern, slightly tacky and slightly ugly muscle car. Back at Coolhaven, this pimped SL65 awaits me. As said before, I am no Mercedes fan, and that is particularly the case with the modern models. And when a car like this is restyled ‘Turkish chique‘, well, then I… really don’t fancy it at all. But for all you enthusiasts:
This sports car boosts a V12 biturbo… All I care about, is that it is a descendant from the legendary Gullwing. And not a descendant in style! So… from Corvette C1 to Corvette C6, from Mercedes Gullwing to Mercedes SL65. I find this a strangely satisfying circle made complete. What a nice spotting day!
