Imagine my surprise… do I spot yet another Heckflosse in my street? What are the odds?!

On closer inspection, however, this appears to be a different Merc, no less than a 300SEL. That it, I THINK it is. Please correct me if I am wrong, I don’t particularly fancy Mercedus’/Mercedussus/Mercedii (or whatever is the plural of that name ), and therefore I am certainly no connaisseur.

It seems the suspension is seriously shot on this 3.5 liter 8 cylinder, this amount of tilt is not what Mercedes had in mind with a smooth ride

And you could imagine my surprise when I spotted a second Volvo Duett, blue and cream two-tone this time, only seconds after shooting what I then still thought to be a ‘second 220 Se’! Actually, I was quite annoyed because I just missed it, you can see it leaving a parking spot on the photos…

For some reason, I remembered the ‘first one’ to be blue. Of course, the ‘both’ cars are one and the same
