This car is a direct successor of one of the most beautiful cars ever designed: the 1954 300SL Gullwing. I am no Mercedes fan at all, but the Gullwing… This sporty SL500 from 2005 is a long, long way from the classic beauty of the 300SL, but this site was turning a bit in a classics spotting heaven, so lets post something new, fast and expensive here

Granted, it is not a rare or unique find, and even for the lovers of fast cars a better spot isn’t hard to imagine (just add the letters AMG ), but who cares? I passed this way too expensive little hardtop cabrio, and now it is here for everybody to enjoy. It has been a slow week, let’s hope on some special stuff in the near future! A Gullwing would be nice…
