Cars of Coolhaven

Now this is a car I like! I am really pleased with this spot. This car is closely related to the Fairlady I spotted a while back in Rotterdam.Now, here in not so sunny booming city of Brielle, I run into this sporty old orange Datsun. What a cool car!

As with all Datsun/Nissan cars of the era, the model has about 14 gazillion different names. This car is also known as the S30 Nissan, and of course Fairlady Z. This doesn’t make Googling any more easy Anyway, it is a lovely car, and the white ‘Z’ side badges on the B pillar would indicate that this is a 1971 or later model.The 240Z was a very successful racing car, and proved to be a great image builder for Nissan. This of course because they were mostly known for flooding the market with boxy cheap family car Datsuns with the sex appeal of a bag of used diapers…
