Opel Commodore (a B model I guess?)

I had a great car spotting day today! I wasn’t actually on a car spotting trip, but it turned out that everywhere I went, I spotted something interesting! An old Datsun sports car, a shooting brake Scimitar, a yet unidentified American 60′s boat, I really hit it today!

So why am I posting this rather boring Opel? Well… all those fancy spots aren’t Photoshopped into nice acceptable pictures yet :-) And with some nice cool stuff coming in, lets rid my to do list of this blast from the past, the Opel Commodore!

This actually is quite a good car, but it has the Opel disease: it is boring! I am reading up on the Lancia Fulvia, Renault’s Alpine and what not, and now I have to say something interesting about the Commodore? It is hard… I like the car, it is good quality and, not unimportant, the location it was parked allowed for nice and sunny pictures. I just know lots of people have fond childhood memories of a car like this, so I wanted to post it. I must admit that it does little to me, though…

Opel…
