Audi Coupé GT (1980-1987)

On a slow car spotting day, I decided to take some pictures of this Audi. It does not look half bad, and since it is the cheaper and therefore less looked after model, it actually isn’t that common anymore. It is a piece of Audi history, enjoy!

From wikipedia: The Audi Coupé GT is a 2-door sports car coupé produced and sold by Audi from 1980 to 1987. The car was an attempt by Audi to offer a more affordable version of its turbocharged, quattro permanent four-wheel drive Audi Quattro. The Coupé GT featured a similar body shape to the Quattro, but without the knife-edged fender flares of the more expensive car. Mechanically, the biggest changes from the Quattro to the GT were the use of a naturally aspirated 1.9 litre carburetter engine, 2.0 litre, 2.2, or 2.3 litre injected 5-cylinder engine and a front-wheel drive drivetrain. Although some later Coupe GTs were also fitted with a 1.8 litre injected 4-cylinder engine.

I like the shape, I hate the black-out lights.
