Most of the times, Ferrari is a car maker that makes very exciting, very beautiful cars. On this car, however, I think they had an off-day. I can’t really get excited about this front engine tourer. Of course, we all have our different opinions. deJurriaan actually appreciates this sports car as one of the prettiest modern Ferrari’s. Probably, it has something to do with the designer, Pirinfarina. When I see this car, I see an overprized Peugeot with flip-up headlights. deJurriaan, who is a fierce loather of the Peugeot brand (and all other French brands), first sees the nice Pirinfarina design for Ferrari, and hates all later 406′s/407′s for driving around designed on the same Pirinfarina drawings… No matter who was first, I still think Ferrari’s and Peugeot’s should not be sharing back-sides!
I would love to spot a Ferrari 456 GT Venice, though! Cars like this in a shooting brake version already really have my fancy, but the Venice was built-to-order by Pirinfarina.
