This car comes driving by, the RDW says it’s a Volkswagen, so it is a kitcar. But, I don’t recognize it? Anyone, is this car just somebody’s fantasy or is it modelled on an existing car? Please comment!

als je handig bent bel je de garage op. Lijkt wat op een FT Bonito

Lijkt wat op een “Aztek” kitcar

    Sorry, foutje, “Sterling”

Nope, it isn’t the Sterling if you ask me. The headlights are completely different, on this car they were almost tubular… The Sterling has flip-ups of built-ins. These lights were very pronounced.

Of course I could call the garage on the side, but would that not take away all the fun of determining what kind of car this is? :-)

Agreed, but the roof/door section looks just to much alike. It might not be the exact model as shown there, but it almost has to be something similar.

And about asking; do you know how many kitcar manufacturers were busy in the 70′s and 80′s? You could write a library about them I would estimate.
