Cars of Coolhaven

One of the best visited cars on this site is the beautiful, silvery Mercedes 220 SE with the famous Heckflosse or fin tails. So you can imagine how pleased I was that I spotted yet another Heckflosse! Granted, it would have been nice to spot the fin tail Mercedes convertible for a change, but I am certainly not complaining…

This long blue boat of a coupé is built between 1959 and 1965, and that makes the 220SE a first generation w111. For some specs, please look at the other w111 on the site. And while you’re at it, help me out because I can’t decide. First, I was convinced the two-tone silver paint job is nicer, however, the more I look at this elegant blue paint scheme, the more I can appreciate it. Soo… silver or blue?
