The car which gave me the final inspiration to develop this site! I really like this flaming red, sporty, style-of-the-seventies Audi. And joy: it is for sale as well! Unfortunately, I have resources nor location to buy myself an extra car just for fun, but otherwise… Oh well, enjoy the pictures, and anybody who has additional information, please contact me!
This 1.9 litre 115 horse power beauty is build somewhere in the early seventies. The first series, which is this model, has two carborators under the bonnet, unlike the second series. Top speed around 185 km/h, and it only takes this old beast 11 seconds to get it’s 1100 kg to 100km/h. Build from 1970 till 1972, with currently only 84 registered drivers in Germany. The second series, build from 1972 till 1976, currently only has 366 registered users in Germany. In the rest of Europe, only a hundred Audi 100 are registered! Don’t forget, in total, no less than 30687 have been build from ‘70 till ‘76. Quite a rare car nowadays, one can say. And this one is for sale! Mind you, with a original interior and exterior as well!

I spotted me another one of these cars! What are the odds, I know about a green one here in Dordrecht. Hope to get around to photographing and posting it here soon, but I am waiting for a nice day… with nice sunny weather. And… some time to look up the car and have it parked in a ‘good’ spot that allows for some nice pictures!
